[And so, a day or so later, Ling Yao does indeed arrive on the Blue Fish fortunately while the first mate is away. There is of course the peculiarity that Ling Yao has the same exact body as Greed - but the similarities end there. His voice is lighter and higher pitched, his mannerisms much looser and relaxed, and he wears an expression of quiet contentment as opposed to Greed's smug arrogance. Rather than Greed's penchant for blacks, he dresses in the white and gold colors of his clan.

He waits in the cargo bay with his arms folded into his sleeves, seemingly lost in thought, sleeping, or perhaps just in meditation.]

[Robb does not recognize the man right off the bat when he approaches him. He looks as if he is of high birth. A prince indeed. Yet the clothes look odd. Not something he is familiar with.]

[For a short moment he gazes at the older man, noticing how he seems to be caught up in his own thoughts.]

Your grace? [Robb sounds overly formal when he speaks. As if the other man has come to ask him for Sansa’s hand instead of a simple walk.]

[Your grace. It's a title that barely befits him presently. He's not the Emperor yet and his rank is rather insignificant. He smiles politely though.]

I am Ling Yao. [He presses a fist against his open palm and offers a slight bow.] It is an honor, your grace.

Robb Stark. [While he talks he straightens his back a bit more, a stern expression on his face.] It is good to meet in person. [The safety of his sister means a lot to him and silently he hopes he is able to stop feeling guilty over absolutely everything one day.]

You wish to court my sister, is it not? I appreciate that you have contacted me first about it.

[Well... he'd actually only wanted to just take Sansa for a walk. But hey, if it's a courtship that's being offered here, why not?]

Well you are her king. I would hate to be a cause of discord between the two of you.

I am her brother first. [The smile on his face is small and overly polite.] All I want for you is that you are careful with her. [Oh, and...] Respect her wishes.

And should her wishes find her wishing to spend more time with me?

[He is curious to find out if this actually does potentially lead to marriage. Because that wasn't the original plan.]

We will see about that. [Because in Robb’s head they were all going home as soon as possible, and this man had nothing to offer to the North.] I do not think she will have great plans of that sort. [And I hope you do not have those either.]

Well, of course. Who can plan these things, after all?

[This entirely contradictory to how these things are already always planned. He is for instance already planned to have fifty wives.]

[Robb cannot help a soft snort.]

At times marriages can be rather sudden. And unexpected.

[His voice stays calm and polite.]

I rather not want you to something like that.

I'm afraid I have no experience in that matter. I'll take your word on it.

[Robb nods and smiles.]

Have a good time with my sister, your grace. Make her smile.

[He reaches out to pat Ling's arm in a friendly way.]

I wanted to ask- you use swords, right?

Aye, I do.

[A pause.]

Have you found some?

You could say that!

[Okay, he'll clarify]

The Vanquish's engineer left. Apparently she had a hobby of making swords...lots of swords. And the captain is willing to give me a few of the swords in exchange for helping them sort through all of them.

Since you're our security officer, I was wondering if you wanted me to keep an eye out for a good quality sword for you.

[Is his first reply after hearing Allen’s story.]

Aye, definitely. The one I have purchased does not seem much. [A pause.] Try to find a longsword for me. I do not mind the weight but it has to be slightly bigger than the one I have now.

[Because Robb is picky about swords.]

[He gives an amused sound at that reaction] From the sounds of it, her crewmates didn't know the extent of her hobby either until they went into her room.

[Ah yes, good -specifics and pickiness are actually helpful!]

Alright, I can do that! What's the current length of the sword you have now? And is steel okay?

[Robb laughs.]

Were her chambers full of swords? [It is kind of amazing that so many women are being swordsmen here.]

The one I have is between a long dagger and a short sword. I prefer it longer. [He thinks deeply.] Four feet, mayhaps? Is there something like that there? Long.

[It is really hard measuring something over the communicator.]

Yeah, at least fifty of them.

[What was she even planning to do with 50+ swords? The universe may never know]

Four feet....okay!I think there might be a few! I'll take a close look at them, and bring you back one if I find a good one!

[Robb sounds surprised.]

Is that really true? Can you show it to me? Turn on the front of your communicator so I can see the images. Or take a not-moving image. And send it to me so I can see it inside my box.

[ Allen's not happy to do this, but the honor system of "Rock Paper Scissors" is a strict one. ]

Sokka wants to give Arya a knife made out of a giant tooth, but he wanted me to ask you and Jon if it's okay to give her that, since she's your little sister.

So is it okay?

I will not question the captain's decisions. And Arya should be able to protect herself.

Tell him he has my permission.

[ ...Yeah. He guesses it was pretty delusional of him to hope that the Stark boys would have more sense about giving a small child a weapon. Sigh. ]
